Settings

Picture[0:44]
Once you log in, you will be directed to the set up guide where you will enter all of your basic settings. Consult with your doctor to determine the right settings for you. On the settings page, you can always change your target blood sugar level, your correction factor, your carb ratio, and your Unit Type (mg/dL (US standard) or mmol/L (UK standard)). Also, you have the option to round to the nearest half or whole unit. Once you make your selection, hit save - and that’s it!

Advanced Settings

Picture[3:19]
Ready to kick it up a notch? Click "Advanced Settings" on the Settings Page. First, use the toggle on the right to turn on or off “Negative Correction Factor” to lower your insulin amounts when your blood sugar is low. Consult your doctor to determine if you should use this feature. If you want to customize each meal, turn the toggle on to select "Enable Meal Settings." Scroll through each meal category and enter a unique Target, Correction Factor and Carb Ratio for each meal. Again, consult with your doctor to receive the right settings for you. Once you're done, click “save” at the bottom of the screen. Now, when you go back to the Insulin Calculator, you will see a new box that lets you choose the meal you are calculating for - How cool is that?!

Insulin Calculator

Picture[1:07]
The Insulin Calculator is very user friendly. All you need to do is enter your current glucose level and the amount of carbs you are planning to eat. Click calculate and BOOM! The insulin amount is displayed for you.  But wait, there's more! Click “Log it” and all of your data will be logged. You can view your log on the Insulin Log tab.

The Insulin Log

Picture[1:35]
This page captures all of your data that you decided to log. The best feature (I think) on this page is the ability to email your Insulin Log! At the top, select the start and end date of the logs you wish to send and then click the “Send” button. Your email will appear with the list of logs in the body of the message and also as a .csv attachment. Simply write in the To: field the person you'd like to send your information to, add a brief message and include your name in the body of the message and send it off to your medical providers. To delete any logs just swipe left on the log and click delete. When you click on a log, it shows you all of the details and allows you to edit if needed.

My Food Library

Picture[2:57]
My Food Library is for you to create a list of the foods you commonly eat, so you don’t have to keep looking up the nutritional facts each time. It will help you keep track of your foods, their carb amounts, quantities, and any notes. [ProTip: Include a note as to how you reacted to certain foods in the notes section to remind you for next time]. To add a food, click on the top button "Add Food" and then type in the food name, number of carbs, quantity, and any notes. Just like The Insulin Log, My Food Library allows you to edit any entry by simply clicking on the food name and clicking "Edit Item" and you can delete any item by swiping left and selecting "delete."

You can also select your favorite items by swiping left on any item and clicking "favorite." A yellow star will then appear next to your food item. At the top of the page if you click on the circle next to "Favorites Only" then only your favorite food items appear. Click again to turn it off. To unfavorite an item, swipe left and click "favorite" again to remove the star. Use the search feature anytime to quickly find your favorite food. Simply begin typing the name of the food and your item will appear. Click the "X" to the right of the search box to clear the box.

My Account

Picture[0:49]
On the settings tab, at the bottom of the page, you can access "My Account." On this page, you can change your password, sign out and delete your account if necessary. Also on this page, you will have access to the Guide, Support Us page, About Us page and the Privacy Policy.
There is also a "Followers" link which is a feature that is coming soon! This feature will allow you to give access to others to view your account. This may include your caregivers, doctors or school nurse.
